ACC Workplace Safety Discounts (ACC WSD) – Small Employer Scheme
ACC have developed a scheme that saves smaller businesses, which require less structure and formality, 10% off the work ACC levy where they demonstrate sound health and safety practices. This programme is available in the agriculture, construction, fishing, forestry, motor trades, road transport and waste industries.
To apply, download a copy of the Small Employer Scheme criteria from www.acc.co.nz or obtain a copy from your local ACC office, and make an application directly to ACC. Once you have been accepted into the programme and ACC have advised that an audit is required, contact us. VNZ has a number of ACC approved auditors eligible to undertake Small Employer Scheme audits. ACC require a percentage of businesses in the scheme to be audited each year and select sites to be audited. ACC will pay the full cost of the audit.
