- We are fully funded through charges that we make for the services that we deliver.
- We offer certification and recognition of management systems, without bias, discrimination or prejudice. We do not offer management system consultancy services.
- We have a dispute resolution and appeals process to deal with any issue relating to our audit and certification work.
- We are JAS-ANZ accredited for our ISO9001, ISO14001 and BRC Global Food Standard Certification Programmes.
- We are IANZ accredited against ISO17020 for our food safety programme.
- We are a contracted provider to ACC for WSMP, Partnership and Small Employer Scheme audits.
- We are a Designated Audit Agency approved under the Health and Disability (Safety) Act 2001.
- We are impartial in carrying out management system activites and manage all conflicts of interest accordingly.

Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) have been used as a base for ensuring consistency and quality in both service and manufacturing organisations for some time now. Verification New Zealand Ltd firmly believes that our ISO 9001 certification process is both robust and demanding, thereby challenging and driving our clients towards realistically achieving a goal of excellence. We acknowledge that certificates on the wall add no true value to the organisation unless they have been gained through hard work and the improvement of standards. Our audit process is targeted at a senior strategic level as well as the operational arena, thus ensuring a holistic, objective and fully-balanced assessment. HEALTH AND SAFETY
Health and safety has become a key requirement for all organisations. Now more than ever before, boards and management need absolute assurance that their companies have effectively designed and implemented robust health and safety systems which meet their particular requirements. To this end, Verification New Zealand Ltd offers in-depth health and safety assessments as an invaluable tool to close any system or regulatory gaps and to promote a culture of safety in the workplace. Our safety auditors take the importance of their tasks very seriously indeed - clients can therefore have complete confidence in our auditing and reporting. Verification New Zealand Ltd audits to all recognised health and safety standards, but in particular the ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices programme, the Partnership Programme, Small Employer Incentive Scheme and to the NZS 4801 Standard.

FOOD SAFETY
Food safety is critical to any food manufacturer for compliance and for business success. Verification New Zealand Ltd offers food safety based HACCP audits by a team of professional food specialists. We are able to offer comprehensive assessments against the Food Amendment Act 1996 for HACCP based Food Control Plans - to gain exemption from the Food Hygiene Regulations 1974.
Verification New Zealand Ltd is approved by the New Zealand Food Safety Authority and accredited by IANZ (International Accreditation New Zealand) as an Inspection Body for food safety assessments.

HEALTH AND DISABILITY
Organisations providing residential care and receiving funding form the Ministry of Health are required to comply with the relevant sector standards. This involves an audit against the requirements with a report going to the Ministry of Health. The certification period awarded as a result of the audit may be 1, 2 or 3 years. A full re-audit is required at the end of the certification period or when there is a change in ownership or premise. Contact us for more details.

ENVIRONMENT
Most organisations are now faced with the need to be responsible in managing the environmental impact of their business activities. The ISO14001 Environmental Management System offers an excellent template on which to base this process.
Verification's Environmental Programme offers an in-depth assessment against these criteria. Successful certification means that an organisation can have confidence in its processes and overall environmental strategy. To this end, our auditors operate in a proactive way to ensure our clients have practical system solutions in place by which they can help improve the influence and effect their operation has on the environment.

COSTS
- All assessment work will be charged on a half or full day rate. This applies to preassessment, manual review, onsite assessments, reporting, clearance and certification.
- Ongoing surveillance or review assessments are charged on the same basis.
- Verification New Zealand Ltd does not charge for travel time outside core business hours nor do we charge a separate registration fee like other certification/registration bodies.
There is no transfer cost to you if you are already certified and you want to change.
